EMOTIONAL DEPRIVATION: HOW CPS DESTROY KIDS PSYCHE

All kids, who have been taken away from their parents, lose theit chance for a healthy mental life. Their psyche gets a serious trauma, effects of which can destroy their personality and life.

When we say about necessity of close contact of kids with their mothers, we give different arguments and reasons of why it's SO essential.
But a visual example always works better.

I've watched a great video that shows a difference between kids that were grown up with loving and caring mothers and kids who lost their mothers and were taken away from them by CPS.

These are babies, but already now we can see this great difference between them.
Childhood is the basis of our future happy and healthy life, and it's impossible to become happy if you didn't get this basis.

The experiment shows how kids behavior differ in the same situation: they sit and they are given some cubes to play. Some adults are around. What do kids do?

*In the begining *of the video we see kids who are brought up with their native mothers, in their families where the atmosphere is calm and good. Kids get enough of love, care and attention.

What do they do?

They all play with cubes with great enthusiasm! They are involved into the game and don't pay any attention on adults.

Why?

They feel SAFETY. They know they are cared and loved, the feeling of safety is so strong that they can play and have fun.

*Then we see a different way of kids reaction. *

They either don't pay any attention on cubes or do it very little.
They pay more attention on adults. They are looking at them all the time. They are seeking for a contact. They NEED them, not fun, cubes and investigation of this world.
Or they are too afraid, too nervous, too stressful, they don't feel safe to pay attention for games, they are waiting for danger.

Why?

These are kids who have lost their parents. Most of them were taken away by CPS, and now they live in orphanages.
They have lost feeling of safety, so they can't be relaxed and play.
Some of them are too fearful. Others are eager to have human's contact and attention much more than just playing with toys.
They feel great lack of love.

In the end of the video we see kids who are interested in nothing at all.
neither cubes, nor adults around.

They don't show any emotions, any interest or reaction. They are deep inside of themselves.
These kids have autism mental disorders.
The most tragical variant of emotional deprivation.
