I, also, lost weight through fasting and intermittent fasting, which I still do. It's like when you fast, your body has a "reset" and then you lose those nasty sugar cravings,as well as other cravings. I get my carbs in the form of vegetables and fruits. I avoid processed carbs like refined sugar and wheat flour, etc... Another great point about fasting is that it "starves" cancer, can heal Type 2 Diabetes, and more diseases. I also sleep more soundly when I fast. What I have learned thorugh losing the weight I needed to lose and through regaining my health is that we really don't need much food. Thank you for your post!

Thanks for looking, and adding your experience to the discussion. I believe that meal times can be as much a habit, and individuals eat, not due to hunger, but conditioning.
I feel the same exact way. I grew up in a culture where you eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner at specified times, whether you're hungry or not. Then, like you said, it becomes a habit or conditioning. Now I rarely eat after 2PM. I feel better eating light and early. I also make fresh-pressed vegetable juice daily. Sometimes it can be difficult in social situations where people are expecting you to eat. In those situations I might have a little salad or fruit or nothing...
I agree, people get uncomfortable 😣 if you do not eat, but they can get over it. If they have a high fat/low carb item I may try that, but not many people serve pork rinds!
I agree! Yes, not many people serving pork rinds out there.
Then let THEM eat the cake!
Exactly!
