Good morning and good day fellow Steemians. This is part 2 of my blog of the central WI Rock Fest 2017. The weather was much nicer today as we were able to get out of our sweatshirts and into some shorts, tank tops, and enjoy the sunshine. Day 1's weather was definitely nothing to brag about, but today was beautiful and everyone enjoyed it. The stages also produced some awesome sounds as groups like Avatar, Clutch, Korn, and the featured performer Avenged Sevenfold took the stage. And as the main stage performers were transitioning the side stages were hard at it keeping everyone entertained. All this made for a music festival of 13 hours of non-stop music. And at times all 4 of the side stages were going as well which made the air rich with the sounds of drums, guitars, and singing as well as maybe the occasional smell of cannabis. Hmmmm, now we couldn't have that at a rock fest could we?
The people are amazing! This is like a modern day Woodstock with people from all over the country. I met folks from as far away as Alaska today. These folks literally take their vacations with this trip in mind and they start preparing for the next years trip the day they get back from this years. We are talking some HARDCORE rockers here. And dedicated to Rock Fest as well. And I don't blame them. The staff that has put years, (27), into making Rock fest has got this down pretty good. They pretty much have a contingency plan in place for every and any situation, and have handled them all wonderfully.
So today I'm posting the pics gathered from the days events. I maybe should get more of the stage and the artists, but you know? I like getting the people who make the artists famous. If it weren't for the fans, those who support the artists by coming to these events and buying their CD's and going to the clubs where they are performing, well, they wouldn't be famous now would they? So if you would like to see more of the bands in my posts you can always ask for them, but for the time being I'm giving those who put their love of music and the artists center stage.
So now to take center stage........ROCK FEST 2017 PART 2!!!

And this is Matt. I have to put this pic in because if it weren't for fella's like this, the grounds wouldn't be as clean as they are. When you go to events, don't just take it for granted that the grounds clean themselves. It takes a team of people to pick up what others leave behind, So this is a BIG shout out to those who do just that. And the next time you are out at an event, PLEASE, pick up after yourself and leave your area the same as you would if it were your own house or property.
