Midnight Cowboy! A Great Film that Broke the Filmmaking Mold.

in #filmmaking5 years ago

I met John Voight a few years ago. I was at a Film Festival with my screenplay now titled 'Better Left Unsaid'. We were having a drink. I don't agree with his politics but I found him fascinating. It wasn't a long chat but it was interesting.

I introduced myself by thanking him. It caught him off guard. He replied, "For what?" I said, "For Midnight Cowboy and all your films". He seemed very thankful which caused me to wonder if he had ever been thanked before. It was one of those moments for me that's caused me a lot of thought since.

glad to see you back on steemit. I know you have been busy. There was a film from Costa Rica participating in the Canadian film festival. Always a pleasure to read/watch your posts. You cannot always judge a person for his political view or what he beliefs, in fact if you are basing your judgement on that you should think twice who might be making the mistake.
