Weekend Recap

Hi Friends,

I had a good weekend and I hope each of you did as well.

Saturday was a day of getting things done as my wife and I divided and conquered and each took a kid with us. The girls went to Kohl’s, the grocery store, the bike repair shop (hole in Kendra’s tire tube), the library and Target, while Jacob and I went to Home Depot and Walmart. With the chores all done, my wife and I ordered in sushi for dinner after the kids went to bed to celebrate our wedding anniversary :)

Jacob had been asking to go fishing, but then Kendra wanted to go too so we ended up doing a beach day with a little kayak fishing on Sunday. We had a great time getting out of the house and each kid caught a fish before we spent time playing in the sand and swimming in the ocean. This was the first fish Kendra caught on her own, which was one of my 2020 goals 👍🏻
