Lily sat at her desk, just having written a letter when she heard her cousin Daniel knock on the door.
"Whats up cousin", She asked.
"I just wanted to talk, are you busy", he responded.
"Not really I just finished writing". Lily answered.
He walked in and took the second chair near her desk and they spoke briefly until they heard her aunt call from downstairs. Daniel turned to his cousin giving her a quick and surprising hug before running down the stairs.
Lily turned back to the letter she had written but was surprised to see the paper was different and was even decorated with drawings she recognized but knew she had not drawn. She opened the letter to read it and was surprised to find all her questions answered. The signature at the bottom was unmistakably her name. She was unsure what to do so just sat for a short time thinking.
She then decided to try and see if she would get another response. Lily took out another sheet of paper and wrote some questions about her parents and her cousin. Satisfied she shoved it into her desk drawer and decided to go downstairs with the others.
