Sifting Through Content

On the profile page of any HIVE account there is the opportunity for the account holder to link to a website. By clicking on the link, on most Condenser servers, a new tab is often created to serve the address.

It occurred to me that it may be interesting to explore some account profiles' urls on the blockchain from my Following list.

Randomly clicking from my Following list

Right out of the gate a recent follow provided nice web anchored support for the account's brand at:

@crysis

Another pleasant surprise was the vast amounts of video content that @crysis had in their 3speak account at:

... as well as their Chain presence.

@leprechaun

Leprechaun took me back. Not so much in tech, though there was a taste of practicality over slick. It took me back more to the thinking that the Net was an oyster and had me imagining sending chain packets acoustically over a CB signal using modem protocols.

Heading back for a deeper dive.

More time consuming than AI challenged WesNoth game play on a per game comparison. 😎

These first three have barely scratched the surface yet leave us with much more exploring to be done.

I'm on steempeak, I got a notification that you 'reblogged' my post, but I don't see the post on your feed.
Did you, perhaps, 'crosspost' it somewhere?

It was an older post and my feeling is now that it was rehived by me a couple of month ago already so you would need to seek deep down in the past of my bloggedness. 😎

So, you rehived it, not crossposted it into a community?
Perhaps the previous one didn't get carried over in the fork?

Rehived was my thinking. It's hard to get the permanent link as beeme.icu seems to have been hacked to display a BLM Black Page, making the services unavailable.

Hmm,...just trying to figure out why that notification stated something from that far past.
It would make sense if you crossposted to a community, but reblogging implies, to me, that you put it on your feed.

I don't really want to bother peakd, I complain enough there.

It was discovered by me some time ago that editing an old post will have autovoting bot accounts decent upon the post again. So perhaps what the notification is picking up is the command being sent out to the blockchain more than the real action itself; as when it goes to resteem/rehive it realises that it was already resteemed and leaves it at that. Just a deduction on my part.

Ok, so the notifications caught you reblogging it but the blockchain wouldn't allow the transaction due to a prior reblog?

That might do it.

@novacadian Thank you so much :))

Helpful clips to peak behind the curtain of some games of interest. 👍😎
