Series #253: Bun Cha Cham and Bun Rieu Cua

in #food3 years ago

My favorite Vietnamese dish of all time is hanoi-style rice noodles with grilled pork, also known as Bun Cha Cham in Vietnam. Bun Cha Cham is sold in many stores from popular to luxurious in Hanoi
A dish that allegedly originated in the North, bun cham numbers as one of many pork-based dishes characteristic of Vietnamese cuisine. This dish is called "bun cha cham", bun= rice noodles is the main ingredients of the dish and ''cha''= honey grilled pork, ''cham'' means dipping sauce or the act of dipping rice noodles into the broth.

This is a small restaurant located in the center of the town I live in, this small restaurant has a lot of delicious noodle dishes. It is not flashy and does not have a ton of seating, but that adds to the traditional Vietnamese charm. This is a common feature of all popular restaurants in Vietnam. They offer other dishes, but everyone comes for the bun cha cham and bun rieu cua.

This is my favorite noodle rice ^^
Mix the noodles in the broth. Put meat, vegetables and papaya with carrots on top, you will feel the sweetness and fat of the meat, the cool taste of vegetables, the sweet and sour taste of the dipping sauce and the crunchy taste of papaya.
A very simple broth but one that retains all the drama and intensity of a classic noodle bowl. That perfect balance of savoury, sweet, fresh herb, sour, tender rice noodles, and that juicy grilled pork…

They have marinated papaya and carrots with sugar and salt, lemon, this is an indispensable ingredient of this dish.
Key ingredients in the broth are fish sauce, vinegar, boil water, sugar, pepper, lemon juice, carrot, papaya and minced chili garlic giving it a nice kick.
The best part is the charcoal-grilled pork.

They marinated the pork with fish sauce, spices, lemongrass, honey and garlic for a few hours, rolled the ground pork into small patties and grilled it in charcoal, the pork was tender and very fragrant, I love this grilled pork. Thanks to the honey and lemongrass deeply into the slice meat, together with perfect fish sauce, bun cha here was really impressive toward gourmets. Add a handful of bean sprouts or banana flowers for an extra crunch, or have yours with cut chilli with garlic to leave your tongue tingling with delight. The Bun Cha was as great as we expected,
