Pharisees from North Beach in Schleswig-Holstein

Schleswig-Holstein borders have hardly known, the Pharisee, a typical north German national drink. He has its origin on the island of North Beach and more important than the recipe is the story of the Pharisee gave his name to the drink:

History

the residents of North Beach were known for healthy, happy to celebrate and also not averse to the alcohol. Many guests came to a baptism in the year 1874 together - including the pastor, in whose presence (to the displeasure of the guests) out of respect no alcohol was served. Instead, it was strong coffee drinking. To prove that you can be happy even without alcohol, the pastor told a joke after the other thieves and rejoiced, as the assembled crowd always hilarious. The reason for this was the rum, one under the coffee had mixed together with sugar - and, of course, not in the cups, which were served on the pastor. In order to mask the smell of alcohol, a large portion of whipped cream on the coffee. During the celebration always ubermutiger came there, as it had to come: The cups were accidentally swapped, the Pastor got a coffee with rum offset. He noticed the dizziness immediately and cried, beside himself with rage: "You hypocritical people, Now ye the Pharisees!" This had the drink since his name and belongs to every visit to North Beach. There are also regional typical Frisian cake.

Time to do it yourself

Ingredients for the Pharisees

1 cup of strong, hand-brewed coffee
40 ml brown rum,
fresh whipped cream (unsweetened)
2 hands full of love
1 Sugar Cubes

Pharisees - the preparation

First the sugar cube in a cup of warmed household.
Pour the warm brown rum, and then with the hand-brewed coffee oil.
At the end of the fragrant Pharisees with a neat blob very stiffly whipped cream cover completely and lovingly serve.

Tips

Spray cream is not an adequate substitute for the self-opened cream. It does not taste, is not stiff enough and covers so the smell is not nearly as well. In addition, it is far too quickly.
Never a pharisee, you drink with a straw! Don't let tell. The only style break, I let go through, the chocolate rasps on the whipped cream - the look very pretty, are traditionally but not to a pharisee.
I think the rum for my Pharisees not! The best recipe you'll find even if you mix the pharisees from good ingredients in such a way, that he might taste. And if you don't like drinking coffee, just a dead aunt - even as a delicious thing from North Friesland.
