I always considered Japan to be one of the oldest country with rich native traditions. But look at this. Where it's modernization reached - eating its own kind. This is traumatic to read, leave alone visiting the restaurant or talking to their customers. Disgusting to the core. It's an example of total failure of Law Makers to pass a Law like that, instead they should openly ban and punish with such mentality.

Well Lindsey, it's quite an interesting development. This kind of meat is more eco-friendly and ethical instead of animal meat. And legitimizing cannibalism may perhaps curtail illicit cannibal curiosities of many. But it has its own danger as the greed will motivate this business towards crime and people will tend to steal and illegally source such meat of their fellow humans.

I cannot question the quality or properties of the dishes thus made, but I am disgusted by the idiocy of the suicides and their doctors. No-one is terminally ill unless anyone believing such tale from the so-called experts. This type of deal is only another way of avoiding to look into the illness in the soul that is preventing the healing, another way of lying to oneself and others. You guys do realize that this is an April's Fool joke and that pretty much no country in the world (not to mention developed countries like Japan) would make cannibalism legal (which isn't to say that there aren't certain other countries in Asia (you know the usual suspects with dictatorships and forced abortions in place) where you might be able to get aborted fetus soup - or at least placenta soup, but even that is of course, highly illegal and done completely underhand)
