My Signature Pasta Dish

I love Pasta cos it can be cooked and eaten in several ways, they are even used as one of the ingredients in some salads.

Pasta comes in different varieties which are Macaroni, Spaghetti, Tagliatelle, Penne, Fettuccine, Linguine e.t.c

They say Pasta should be cooked Al dente."Al dente" is an Italian term which describes pasta that is cooked firm to the bite. It means the pasta is still firm when cooked but not hard.

So enough of the lecture, let me share my signature spaghetti recipe with you my fellow steemians, lol. I actually cooked this dish in my mind and imagined what it would taste like . I cooked it and it came out nice.IMG_0051.JPGIMG_0016.JPGIMG_0074.JPG

Ingredients
Carrots, Red and Green Bell Peppers cut intro strips (Julienne), Fresh Pepper (scotch bonnet) sliced, onion s lives, sausages cut into strips, vegetable oil , salt and seasoning to taste.

Method:

First you cook your spaghetti , drain and run under cold water to stop the cooking process so it's not too soft. Add a little oil and mix in to avoid it sticking. I'll recommend Golden Penny Spaghetti for Nigerians. Set aside.

Sauté your vegetables; in a cookin pan, heat up some vegetable oil, add the onions and cook a bit till translucent, add the scotch bonnet pepper, then add in the carrots; cook to soften a little and add the red and green bell peppers.

Add in the sausages and cook a little bit, add salt and seasoning to taste, cook another 1 minute for seasoning to enter.

Lastly add the cooked pasta to the vegetable and sausage mixture. Toss a little bit on heat and serve garnished with fresh parsley.
