While in Kelowna, we decided to have a walk near the city center at the Okanagan lakeside park. The weather is perfect, and we passed by this ice cream place packed with a long line up. How can we not have an ice cream in under such wonderful sunshine?
The decor of the little storefront was neat and modern, similar to most hipster ice cream place in Vancouver, they offer a few classics and daily specials, which are different everyday. We managed to tried a few flavors before we ordered: green tea, earl grey and lavender. To my surprise, all of them tasted quite artificial and mediocre, given the premium $6 per cone price they are charging. We reluctantly settled with the lavender flavor, but wasn't really satisfied with its taste.
Oh well.....
