Make Besani paneer vegetable at home: Recipe

Besani paneer Ki Sabji is a famous vegetable of Rajasthan, India. But the main thing is it does not contain real Paneer. Instead Paneer is made using gram flour. Besan Paneer Curry looks delicious and tasty. This vegetable is made usually on small occasions. The taste of this vegetable is different from the rest of the vegetables. Besan Paneer vegetable is served with puri, parantha or chapati.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup gram flour

  • 1 inch Ginger

  • 3 garlic

  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds

  • 1 teaspoon refined oil

For gravy

  • 1/2 cup onion paste

  • 1 tsp ginger paste

  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

  • 2 tsp coriander powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon red chilli

  • 1 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder

  • 1/4 cup tomato puree

  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala

  • Salt as per taste

  • 2 teaspoon refined oil to roast gravy

  • Coriander leaves for decoration.

Preparation

Dissolve gram flour in three cups of water.

Grind ginger garlic and mix it with turmeric in gram flour.

Heat a tablespoon of oil in a nonstick pan and chop cumin seeds, then add gram flour and salt in it.

Stir continuously until the mixture is collected on medium gas.

When the mixture starts leaving the pan, spread it on a greased plate.

When cold, cut the desired pieces. Saute all the pieces in a tablespoon of oil.

To make gravy, fry onion and ginger garlic paste in the remaining oil.

Add all the ingredients of the masala and add 2 teaspoons of water and fry the masala again until the oil comes out.

Add besni paneer and 2 cups of water to it.

If the vegetables become thick, then add a little more.

Cover the vegetables after boiling.

Reheat after 10 minutes. Flip in a serving bowl and serve it with hot spices and coriander leaves.
