Hi everybody! Today I'm going to show you how to do a chocolate cake with a ganache. Yeah, is not so light, but trust me, the taste isn't extremly sweet, because I used mostly dark chocolate.
The ingredients are:
Butter 180 gr (room temperature)
Flour 00 180 gr
Yeast 14 gr
Sugar 250 gr
3 whole eggs and 1 yolk
Whole milk 75 ml (room temperature)
Unsweetened cocoa powder 30 gr
For the ganache:
Dark chocolate 400 gr
Milk chocolate 200 gr
Liquid fresh cream 650 gr
1) First of all pour sugar into a bowl and cut into pieces the non- cold butter. With a fork try to dissolve it until it becomes a cream.
2) Pour one egg at a time and with an electric mixer conform it at the compound, then add the second, and so on. At the end you'll have a compound assembled and fluffy.
3) In another bowl put the flour passed through sieve and the yeast. Add the mixture to the cream a tablespoon at a time continuing to mix , and then slowly add the cocoa (previously passed through a sieve).

Once you have finished mixing the mixture, pour it into a pan of about 20 cm buttered and/or with parchment paper.
4) Bake in a convection oven for 50 minutes at 150 degrees . Let it cool and only then cut it in two.

5) For the ganache start with the liquid fresh cream, put it on the fire and switch off before get to boiling, then pour it on the chocolate (previously cutted into pieces) and melt all with a whisk.
6) Pass the container on another bowl with ice and whip with an electric mixer for about 15-20 minutes . Don't worry if it will remain liquid
7) At the end put it on the fridge for about 1 hour and then you can use it to stuff the cake and cover it.

You can then add other ingredients for decoration , for example, I 've used chopped hazelnuts and sugar spheres. Other ideas could be chocolate truffles or coconut kernels. In short , have fun and be creative!
Let it in the fridge for 1 hour and then is ready!

Let me know if you are going to try this! :)
