Dear Readers!

Eating clean and healthy is one of the hottest topic nowadays. There are endless theories and standpoints and uncountable advices from experts. On the other hand there are the people, who want to be healthy, eat real food and confused by all the information which is given.

We hear more and more about super-foods, but many people do not even know what this is really about. Superfoods are basically foods that are much richer in vitamins, minerals, nutrients, electrolytes and phytonutrients but also much poorer in calories than any other usual foods.

The term superfood is not a novelty. It is already found in the 1915 Oxford Dictionary as "a nutrient-rich food that is considered to have a particularly beneficial effect on health and well-being". In another dictionary, the term "a super nutritious, rich food full of vitamins, minerals, dietary fibers, antioxidants and / or phytonutrients" is described. T However, the widespread use of the word was only started at the end of the '90s when an article appeared in the American Nature Nutrition magazine with the term superfood.

I want to introduce You to some basic superfoods that can be added to your daily routine and helps your body and your mind to live a healthier and better life.
