My Menu This Morning "Swamp cabbage"

As usual when at home with my wife prefer lots of cook. Starting from vegetables to meat that is processed according to my taste.

And this morning I returned to the menu for breakfast.

Well for my friend who do not know, Indonesian people are most happy and generally often consume this vegetable, Well "Swamp cabbage" if in Indonesian language is called "Sayur Kangkung".

To make this vegetable is not difficult, because it does not require a lot of spice. Enough with just Onion, Garlic, and a little Shrimp Flour "Terasi", and also Salt to taste and also Sugar As a flavor.

I prefer "sugar" as flavoring because as I know it, Sugar Cane is the original ingredient for Seasonings.

And Here is a little way of processing it:

Prepare Vegetable Spinach, then sliced ​​according to taste and size then wash thoroughly.

Prepare about 10 pieces of red onion and two garlic. If there is no Shrimp Flour, it does not matter either. Simply just onion as the main ingredient Spices.

Heat enough oil, usually for the size that I make, for Vegetable "Kankung" weighing 1/4 kg, then the oil is about 30-50 ml only.

After the heat, then input onion slices and cook until half cooked.

If it is, then input the vegetable and stir until it begins to wilt. If it has withered. Put salt and sugar as a flavor.

The ratio of Salt and Sugar is 3 to 1. Or set it according to the tongue. If trouble.

For this Vegetable, not well cooked for too long, so cook it half cooked only. If overcooked, the vegetable color will turn black. And of course the protein content in the vegetables will be lost.
