After one month, we thought we had seen it all! That was until we met Miguel with Nissi Boat Tours who took my family out for some oyster diving! A great family friendship had commenced and the vast Pacific has become a new area of exploration that we cannot get enough of!
We have gone out almost everyday and have become addicted to fresh seafood! We just can't get enough of the gorgeous views, dolphin sightseeing, or excitement of our findings!
It's really become such a new experience for us to go out, fish for your food, come back and as a family have dinner feasts! Our local friends have taught us so much, even how to prepare the seafood!
Here we were excited for a Lobster feast! Lots of pokey preparations! Cut the antennas off first, then keep it right side up and crack from torso to head, then head to tail, then turn over and do the same thing. Remove the "guts and intestines".
We think it's amazing to know the ocean is FREE and right at our doorstep!
Now we know why limes are sold in every store! We have learnt that it's the limes that actually cook seafood and give it so much flavor!!
Here we are at a Virgin Beach after catching a beauty and are preparing it in the fresh air at the beach!
The sauce smothered on top is made simply of ketchup, mayonaise and hot sauce!!!

Haha! Right! It was so fun to catch and literally have nothing on this beach except a couple of knives...shows how little man needs to survive!
