Fractally is poised to revolutionize air drops into a more refined and precise tool of market strategy. Airdrops have unfortunately become synonymous with spam emails. The market is just too saturated with meritless projects (that’s putting it as nicely as I can). Now with Fractally we can leverage our Respect and vibrant community to promote worthy airdrops utilizing powerful tools to build from the ground up those projects that the market, through tokenizing respect and consensus, will deem worthy of attention and growth. This evolution will also allow fractally to organically empower IBC. I will use an example that interests me.
I am interested in Smartholdem.io (STH) which is a DPOS based chain with cross-chain capabilities particularly with Bitshares, and they have a poker game coming out soon. I see value in the DEX game and would like to promote IBC thus empowering our fractal blockchain. In the near future as Fractally matures, I envision a team, maybe a future BTS fractal team, being capable of creating a LP token air drop (ex. STH/R) on a targeted audience in the fractal community and/or in the BTS community that may value this project. Respect will be a powerful metric members may use when evaluating their options. I also understand that the functionality of BEOS can help facilitate this IBC because they are a middle chain between BTS and EOS ( I am presuming IBC will be available between new Fractal chain and EOS). There now is a stronger likely hood of a target audience participating (market strategy) versus spamming the air drop on random accounts, that do not participate, thus displaying an evolved air drop system that proves to be a formidable enhanced tool. This leveraging and harnessing of Respect and consesus translates into quality participants that help quality projects grow from the grass roots. This is one example of endless possibilities that Fractally is opening up for humanity. Unfortunately sometimes when you build it they don’t come, but now with Fractally as a strong, vibrant, respectful community we can help ensure if you're respectable and you build it, we will come!

I am still learning about airdrops and can't say if I agree or not, I want to learn more ever since Douglas Butner started talking about the idea. Not sure what real impact, risk or benefit would be derived from it, nor if it fits into Larimer's vision and understanding of Respect tokens not being a security.
