The Truth Will Set You Free

Our lives are filled with mystery. Indeed, the unknown propels us far more than the known does. For what is known? What do we truly know, being divine beings who perceive into this dream we call life through the lens we call our senses?

Our bodies are our temples. They are where Spirit has set up shop for this magical journey we are on. But, since we are always within our temples, we do not really know what lies outside in the world. Our senses feed us information on a constant basis, but this information is like someone speaking to us through a door. The speaker may describe what's outside, but we can never see it directly for ourselves.

This is why faith is so important. When we don't have faith, all we have is a bunch of information that does not inspire us to act to our fullest. We can choose to be skeptical, but this does not serve us. When our hearts are fully aligned with what we believe to be truth, we inspire within us a great energy that can carry us through anything.

Sometimes we catch a glimpse of the truth outside. These mystical experiences can radically change a person's entire beliefs. It is as if a divine set of hands has picked up our very souls and held us up so we may see better. These moments can radically change a person. This is because now they have been given a gift of information that is so far outside the bounds of normal, it cannot be taken as just circumstance. In these moments, our faith is wholly put into the belief of what we have seen, because nothing else compares.

It is these moments that we come closest to the truth. This gift is like trying to bite your own teeth; you cannot truly capture it in words. But everything within you is absolutely in alignment. There is no other belief that compares, or could possibly hold a candle to what is now believable.

When we have faith in these experiences, our lives can be fundamentally changed. It is that faith which allows us to do the impossible, for it propels you do act in ways that everything previously known could never inspire you to.

I think I understand the emphasis on the phrase "truth will set you free" ,to be that the greatest freedom is that of your mind(clear conscience).
The reason is that, saying the truth does not always save from punishment or hurt as we often make it sound.
The truth sometimes increases hurt and punishment, while clearing guilt and doubt.
Thanks for the post,kudos.
