The politics of deception: A cry called freedom (+Venezuela)

in #freedom7 years ago

To be born and die is part of life, we are all born in different places and in very different cultures. Our life experiences that make us grow as people, we learn from the good and the bad, we are fighting beings from the first moment we are born, we have illusions and dreams, the latter is the hardest that you can remove because it is always there with you, without matter the circumstance.

We are beings that we love in many cases where we come from, we appreciate our nationality, to love our country is a very sincere love, to defend your ideals against the oppression that can be given, is a practically automatic gesture. Sometimes we do not appreciate freedom, we know it is there, but in our minds we believe that it will always be, but it is not, one day it is snatched and you begin to feel that nothing is safe in this life.

Living experiences are extraordinary, but not having the choice, of giving your opinion of the situation, is an unpleasant experience, but much more if you are young. And that's the only thing you've seen, you haven't had the opportunity to know something different, you've been conforming to misery, and some part we have become miserable, not have feelings when a child dies for lack of medicine, when you see him eat the garbage, not seeing their skinny bodies, who are starving inside.

Not having feelings towards that, is being a “son of a bitch”, some think that what I say is a vulgarity, but it really has no other name. I speak frankly, because it really hurts, to see the indifference to the problem, to think that everything is fine, when it is not, to be conformists, is our biggest problem.

Seeing young people who are not to blame for the problem, fighting for a better country, is for us to think, if it is not time to rescue from the ashes where our country is mired. The word “motherland” badly used by certain characters, to show a face of outdated socialism, which in 18 years has not solved the problem, but has worsened it perverse. That craving for sick power, that the citizens have to pay the consequence, and it is really good that it happens to us, because we are part of the problem.

Our parents, uncles, older siblings, put them there, believing they would make a better country. I do not really blame you, you always want the best, but the so-called “Revolution” remedy, has been worse than the disease lived in the past.

I will be of the last to leave, because I am fully convinced that we have the best country, but during these hours it is still poorly governed. I do not believe in politicians, they are people who negotiate behind us to seek their own benefits, while the ordinary citizen suffers the consequences of a systematic destruction of the country.

If something is to be aspired, is that the politicians on duty, claim what we call “politics”, which in essence is not bad, the bad are their protagonists, who do not really understand what it means. I'm sure better winds will come soon, but in the meantime, we must continue in pursuit of the freedom we all desire. It's never too late when it comes to recovering what belongs to all of us.
