Starting off with a HUGE drumroll, and a standing ovation, for EVERY SINGLE PERSON WHO STEPPED UP - donated, entered, resteemed, sponsored or whatever. Steem community thinking beyond themselves and the next juicy upvote? Yes. Just yes. New paradigm thinking, driven by more than just personal need or greed. People coming together and understanding that 1+1 can, and frequently does, =3 ....and that there can be a juicy upvote too. Which makes it 5. That's a very happy place to be!
The Happiness Challenge.
It started on quiet Monday morning, in my heart, here in Northern Thailand. @richardcrill shared about the work of @littledisciples in the @freedomtribe discord, and invited us to contribute to the work @lopezdaniel is doing with, and for, the indigenous children of Venezuela.
I sent the weeny little bit of steem I had liquid to their breakfast-food-security program, and then felt out-of-sorts and disgruntled all morning because the little I had given didn't feel like enough. And so, over an organic fresh coffee in my Northern Thai kitchen, I resolved to do what I COULD do. And the result is the Happiness Challenge.
I AM THRILLED TO ANNOUNCE that @freedomtribe raised an AWESOME 36.5 steem and 8.0 SBD for the Venezuelan children's food security program.
