It's the beginning of a new week and I was set for work. On getting to work me and the other staffs clear out the work for the previous week and start the one for the new week.
We were done with preparation and only left with sales when suddenly we start to see people running up and down in no particular direction, even vehicles were moving with speed some were packed and the owners left.
People were actually talking and describing the situation of things but me and my colleagues do not understand because of language barrier. So, my friend decided to go to the next working space to ask what they were actually running from and saying at the same time. Before she could move an inch a man was just shouting close your stores they are coming. Everybody became confuse who are the day coming can somebody explain to us what exactly is going on. The woman we met to explain to us said "are you people deaf" and I was like we are not deaf but we don't understand you people's language and we can't start to run without knowing what exactly is happening and if we are to run to which direction exactly. Luckily for us I saw a man that comes to visit me at work passing by so I beckon on him to ask what exactly is happening and he was the one who told us there was crises and people were actually told not to come out that day in particular but because people were kin about money and there business they disobeyed and that action trigger all what we are seeing.
Before we could say a word every where was dry as in I couldn't imagine that that busy area could be that calm and quiet like a grave yard (no body wants to die). We just have to pack within few minutes too and lock our own store. But among all the staffs I was the only one living not to far from the work place. Every other person were thinking of how to get home and me I was already facing the direction to pick my race lols but I have to consider them since it is hot in town and they can't go to town until evening or night the only option is to follow me home, after much deliberation they agree to follow me home and that was how we took to our heels. It took time before we could find a taxi going my direction but we finally did.
My room that day look like a barrack because even my friends that got stuck up too in town have to find there way to my house although it was fun having people around. We gisted, played game, ate together and laugh about the whole issue. At evening when everywhere was calm they left for there houses.
