Sometimes, when growing in groups, some mushrooms look to me like gangs or tribes of mythological creatures, every group in its specific colors and clothing...

... this gracile gang of elongated creatures ... they prefer small caps on their heads ...
... these ones are cultivating a somehow similar elegant style ... but at the same time, they are different enough ... and usually ... more numerous ...
... and here is ... a bit sinister looking ... The Dark Umbrella Gang ... with a refreshingly gothic styling ...
... these little Redcaps ... growing in columns look like always in migration ... like a bunch of dwarfs on their way to the gold mine ...

... another small gang ... situated in the fallen leaves ...
... two fat members of the large-cap gang ...
... a colorful tribe that grows in a tight community ...
... and last but not least ...
... are these giants ...
