I have seen a lot of things in my day, but never this.
This is a 1 1/4 inch tubular arm of a p trap assembly. It was not fitting so the homeowner slowly melted the item and formed it around the obstruction. I am amazed it worked, and didn't leak.
I will have to ask him how many of them he went through to get it right.
