We all know the story of race between rabbit and tortoise.Rabbit started the race very well and he was way ahead of tortoise but due to his over-confidence he thought to take a nap for a while as he under estimated the tortoise and then what happened we all know.The tortoise slowly but steadily continued his race and then surpassed the rabbit,who was still asleep and eventually reached the goal and wins the race.The tortoise was ecstatic after winning the race against the rabbit.On the other hand,rabbit realizing that he lost against a weak competitor got very sad and depressed.The rabbit thought of committing suicide but his girlfriend stopped him from doing so and consoled him that this is not the end of life. There will be more opportunities further in your life where you can excel.But the rabbit just could not digest the fact that being such a fast runner,he was defeated by literally a crawling competitor in race.
Nevertheless,somehow he controlled himself at that time.As few days passed, now he is somewhat in better frame of mind.Sitting beside a tree, he saw group of ants trying to carry a dead insect over the hole,which was there,right in between that tree.The ants were trying too hard but they could not just able to carry that dead insect over the tree. Every time they move above the tree, carrying it over to some distance on the tree,the dead insect fall back to ground,but they never stopped trying and eventually they succeeded to carry it to their place which was that hole in between that tree has.
The rabbit felt so bad about himself that he became so depressed just by losing a single race that he thought to end his life and these ants kept on trying until they succeeded in their endeavor.He learnt a lesson that winning and losing is all part and parcel of life.Life gives you numerous opportunities where you can prove yourself.The real defeat is when we give up and accept the defeat and think that this was the only chance.When these tiny ants can achieve things for what they seek after numerous attempt then why can't i? The rabbit think in himself and now he is a completely changed rabbit. He is now more motivated, always joyful, never underestimate anybody and never makes fun of those who could not run too fast. All creatures of the forest now loves him and he also motivates them.Last news which was reported that he is running a coaching institute for the upcoming and talented runners and he is enjoying life with his family and friends.
