I think the little Youtube migration were seeing right now is really interesting. Without calling out any specific names when I look at peoples voting most of these Youtubers come and post and vote for themselves.

Its somewhat frustrating to see some of them post a bullshit meme that was a screenshot from their phone they didn't even bother to crop and it makes $150 and then someone smaller posts a great piece of longform content with a lot of media and they earn $1.

Somethign I would like to see regarding this is don't just upvote someone because they are a Youtube star, if they make great content awesome give them 100% but don't upvote just because of who they are, that's actually bad for the platform IMHO.

I have a feeling Youtubers will come here, soak up rewards, the next big thing will come along, they will be forgoten about and disapear and the cycle will continue.

Allthis said there are some people who actually try to be part of the community. I started on Youtube, came here with about 60k subs on Youtube back last summer and I'm still here.
