In fact, there is a crazy and completely true story from Serbia.
With the significant help of tax funds, an organic tomato farm was opened in Serbia a few years ago. It was one of the largest in Europe. Everyone visited that farm, including some ministers, politicians and influencing people. None of them have ever been questioned about what follows. Everyone is still at large, in their positions in the government, judiciary, or state institutions.
Then two gangs in the Serbian government came into the conflict over the smuggling weapons to (some terroristic) countries. The Minister of Police and also boss or one of the top members of one gang, launched an action in which the police raided that tomato farm ... to found one of the largest marijuana fields in Europe :) Top quality ;) Amazingly, journalists were present so there could be no cover-up.
The minister was soon replaced and got a new ministry. Another clown was appointed in his place. The new minister does not show any interest in this case. And yes - the new Minister of Police is one of those who visited the farm while it was officially producing tomatoes ;)
Most likely everything will be forgotten in a couple of years, as well as many other Serbian scandals.
