Destiny 2 was launched just over a year ago as a sequel to the popular but overhyped Destiny game.
While Destiny was a big disappointment to many for various reasons, it was a fun game if you had a group of people to play with and you didn't take it too seriously.
If you act before November 18th, you can get Destiny 2 for free. There is a recent expansion that was just released that I'm going to guess is the main reason for this. It was recently free on the PS4 if you owned a PS Plus membership. Now it is free on PC if you have a free Battle.net account.

I just got the notification last night through Battlenet. Downloaded and installed and will play some later today.
Meh in my opinion it's dying so battlenet and like any other platform with a dying game is like " we should make it free for a day or two get some peeps up in herrr" but the hype isn't going to last that long. Now giving a free key of COD Black ops 4 would definitely get some attention!

They released a new expansion and I think that's the big reason for it. But they oversold Destiny big time. They said it is a 10+ year franchise with this massive game and storyline. The story ended up being a joke and the could be finished in a weekend. It's fun, but only for the length of the shitty story, then it's just grinding.
