Gardening Gives Me The High - The Humble Moss Rose

Every morning I visit my garden to get my fix of beauty for the day. The moss rose never fails to give the high I need. This insignificant ground cover is the perfect example of how joy comes in tiny packages.

It is the little things in life that keeps us going day after day. Chasing after the rainbows is a long and difficult journey, which may or may not yield results. Finding joy in everyday things and making the best of what you have is an assurance for happiness.

Even when I am not in a great mood just looking at these little blooms which are often considered cheap fixes for a garden bring me so much peace and happiness.

The moss rose brings so much color and life to my garden. They aren't finicky or demanding like the rose, they just bloom where they are planted. They take little but they keep on giving, year after year.

Moss rose or portulaca is a semi succulent, it doesn't need as much water or care. It doesn't matter what it gets, but it gives of itself like a heart filled with love.

Are words sufficient to express such beauty, my heart somersaults with pleasure when my eyes behold these sights.
I don't know about you, but to be embedded in the bosom of beauty so wild is ecstasy for me.

Your flowers are beautiful! I love the way you poetically expressed your love and appreciation for such beautiful things.

Finding joy in everyday things and making the best of what you have is an assurance for happiness.

I agree with this statement :)

I’m not sure if you’re familiar with how communities work yet but this post would fit great in the Amazing Nature Community.

Let me know if you have any questions or if I can help you in any way.

I’ve submitted your post for an OCD nomination ;)

Thank you so much @crosheille, I am still exploring Hive and these are just test posts. I have been here for three days now.
Thank you for letting me know that this fits into amazing nature community. I will be writing a lot there hence forth because I love nature and nature photography is very close to my heart.
I am not sure if this can be moved there, if that is possible I surely will do that.
I will explore communities to ensure that I post each of m y posts into the right community.
Thanks for the heads up

You are very welcome. I see that you joined in January. So do you mean you’ve only been posting for three days now?

Yes you can crosspost this directly into the Amazing Nature Community. It’s not an urgent thing right now. I just wanted to share that with you because when you post in communities you’re going to have an audience of like minded people who likes the same things as you. It would be easier to find people to relate to and even possibly get more support ;)

If however you are interested in crossposting just click on the 3 dots directly next to the comments and you will see the option. A box will pop up and give you instruction on how to proceed from there :)

Oh and I love your banner photo. Is that from your garden too?

True, I joined in Jan and forgot all about Hive since i found it really difficult to work with :D
Just started being active here with the help of some friends.
I get it , I need to post in the right communities for better interaction. I still can't find the three dots to cross post, I hope to figure that out soon LOL
Yes. all images used on this post are from my garden.
Thank you so much for the encouragement and help @Crosheille

I get it. The first time I joined I took an early break from frustration of not understanding how things worked lol.

Wow you have such a beautiful garden. It’s no problem at all. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need anything. I’m glad you are active now :)

These flowers are looking amazing. I know your love about plants and gardening. These are beautiful plants and you take their pic well. You are going good on hive, keep sharing.

Hoping to find my way around Hive first lol. I am enjoying hive to say the least.
Hope to read your posts soon. Thanks for the encouraging words.
