Do you have a post about flowers for bees and honey production?
I don't have bees, but I've picked up some clover seeds because I always see bees on clover and "clover honey" for sale. If I have anyone nearby, I'd love to plant a bee garden in out alley to help someone else in my community.

That is so epic y'all are doing this! I am interested in doing this in my area, how did. you acquire the high quality food?
Also to share something that I have been going through lately is plastic and garbage. I have been disturbed at the current situation with food and packaging. Every time I throw something away it really hits me, especially with recent recycling changes not too many plastics are even recyclable around here(Southern Oregon). Wondering how you deal with this dilemma?

This is donated from a grocery store that was going to throw it in the trash had we not persuaded them to give it to us so we could distribute it to hungry people.
We reuse everything we can and throw a very small percentage of stuff that comes through here away. Our @everlove especially loves to make art out of "trash" and can find beauty in everything!

I love what you are doing! I used to help out with a food bank at a church. We no longer go to church and our philosophy has evolved. The church got lots of food donated by stores. Some of it was nutritious but there was lots of cake and other sweets. The people would come in and load up on the unhealthy stuff and leave behind the nice nutritious stuff because they didn’t know how to cook it or were not willing to try something new. I ended up taking home gourmet cheeses and hummus and vegetables because otherwise they would have gone to waste. A lot of the people coming in were obese and unhealthy. It think it would have benefited them so much more to be taught about healthy foods and good helpalth practices rather than hammer them with the “gospel.”
