Good judgement comes from experience.

Christian Slater has really been around forever. At least as long as I can remember. He hit the silver screen before I was born in 1989 and made a name for himself. He always stays playing a wide assortment of rolls ranging from tough, chill, and sketchy as fuck.
Suicide Squad: Hell To Pay, Heathers, Pump Up the Volume, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, True Romance , Kuffs, Nymphomaniac, and Crossing The Line to name a few. Though he has had many hits thats hit the screen for a few decades.

What some ppl might forget or don’t even know is that this celebrity has more than two decades in recovery.
In his own life, he has definitely experienced the whole Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde of addiction.
The angry asshole of a young man with an arrest record, drugs and partying, and even his career was all over the place.
The charming actor who has his shit together, who is brilliant at living life to the fullest with unlimited potential.

There definitely was a time when Christian Slater worst enemy was Christian Slater.

Christian Slater🇺🇸 @realchristianslater says it's "sexier to be in the moment" than to rely on booze for confidence.⠀

♥️

"The illusion of being very cool, that drinking is the hip thing to do and that you'll seem like Clark Gable. You go to a party and have a drink and feel like a superhero when the truth is you're looking rather foolish. Showing up for life 24/7 straight and sober can be tough if you're riddled with insecurities. Actually, the fastest way of knowing who you are is to know who you're not"⠀

♠️

Slater admits that maintaining sobriety can still be a struggle at times. "There are definitely challenges, particularly when you're especially stubborn and you want to make something work when it doesn't work for you,"⠀

♦️

“Look, I could spend a lot of time kicking the s**t out of myself for the choices I made,”⠀

♣️

“I was dealing with alcoholism and addiction, and there was a lot to take on without much life experience. Addiction is not pretty, and you don’t fully understand it unless you’re dealing with it head-on.”⠀

🃏

“I appreciated the people who reached out to me. It’s a brutal position to be in. You feel alone and confused over where your life went and how you got yourself in this situation.”

This is awesome to see his example. I remember that Robin Hood. He was with Kevin Costner. Hollywood is messed up. Do you go there and straighten them up last week?

Welcome back

Dude, so often the biggest problem in our lives is ourselves, it's so easy to believe that crutch is supporting you, but we only live correctly when we can support ourselves independently.
