April write songs, and sings them. She used to post it on SoundCloud and YouTube, where it is gaining millions of views. It caught the attention of Scott, who also posts videos of him playing musical instruments. He is more of a musician than a singer.
Scott reached out on her, and asked if they can collaborate. April agreed, and she wrote a song for them to perform, and post it on YouTube. The video scored millions of views, which had some follow ups.
While they worked together in recording and writing songs, they eventually fell in love with each other. Their announcement on YouTube was well-received, and delighted some fans. They became a duo officially, and released an independent album. It did well in independent music charts, but not as good in mainstream. Their next goal is to have a recording deal, and make it in the mainstream.
April and Scott met with the latter's friends, and their hang outs are becoming often. He doesn't even have that much time with April, which got her jealous with his friends. What made her mad is the vices he just had from his friends' influences. Drinking and smoking. They fight more often, but because she wants to save the relationship, she bore with her situation.
Then one night, she went to the bar and saw Scott with his friends drinking. Afterwards, a woman approached Scott and was teased by his friends. April was mad on what she saw, approached Scott, slapped him, and left.
Scott followed April, and asked for forgiveness, tried to explain. He said that she just met the girl in the bar, and his friends are trying to persuade him, but he will not really do it. April forgave him, but pleaded to avoid his friends because of their influence. Scott reasoned they were his friends since his childhood, and just cannot turn his back on them. April said to give her some time to think. Scott returned to his friends.
While he's back to his friends, they influenced him to better break up with her because she's been controlling, and he doesn't have the independence to do what he wants. Being influenced, Scott decided not to contact April anymore. He hides when April is looking for her, not answering her calls, messages, and email. Tried to find even a bitter remedy but to no avail. April is heartbroken, and decided to move on after numerous attempts of contacting Scott.
April created a song about her heartbreak, which gained millions of views on YouTube. A music executive saw her video, and called her. She was offered a recording deal, and eventually signed. Her first single was released, and went to the top 10 in Billboard charts after few weeks of release, and eventually went to number 1. Her first album debuted at number 1. She was finally taken seriously in music industry. Her songs, which talked about her heartbreak, was well-received.
Seeing her success, Scott tried to contact April, and asked if they could meet. April agreed. They met where they usually go to when still together. Scott asked for forgiveness, and pleaded to go back together. April said "I had forgiven you. I wanted to thank you because of what you did. It became my outlet to write music, and became successful. But going back with you? No way! I understood you, but you ghosted me. I reached out, you ran away. So better get off from me because we're over".
That was the last time she talked to him despite Scott's multiple attempts. His plea became the theme of April's second album.
