Good day freewriters! This is my freewrite entry for the prompt "cartoon". The 5-Minute Freewrite Challenge which was an initiative by @mariannewest. Everyone are free to take part in this challenge by checking the profile of @mariannewest, as well as @freewritehouse.
The hypocrisy of media networks and entertainment industry is becoming cringey. Their self-righteousness is very obvious. Imagine the way they express their hatred towards some acts by certain people, and even sensationalize them big time as if there's no other newsworthy events and themes needing broadcast.
Entertainment industry has been good at romanticism of negative actions as seen in their movies, TV shows, and a lot more. Fans (or people) are being fooled by their tons of gimmicks. Actors (and actresses) are really good at acting even in real life. Even in animations or "cartoons", are used for a business' interests.
They support feminism but they pit a woman against another woman. Oh well, Britney and Christina are examples. Singers do not really represent what they want us to believe. On one of their songs, they act like independent women, but there's contrast on another song.
It's actually all about the money. Their so called causes are actually beneficial for them. Publicity is too much, whether negative or positive. Glam was very much promoted, and it enticed people to enter show business. Still, many entertainers suffered mental illness due to exhaustion and other issues.
