These date palm trees were from the Flower Dome. I was quite surprised to see them when I visited the dome the first time. I had thought the dome would showcase only flowers.
A sign on the tree trunk said they are Phoenix Canariensis, or commonly known as the Canary Island Date Palm. And where do you think they originated from? Canary Islands, of course.
According to Wikipedia -
“Phoenix canariensis is a relative of Phoenix dactylifera, the true date palm. Mature Phoenix canariensis are often used in ornamental landscaping and are collected and transplanted to their new planting location. A Canary Island date palm with 10 m (30 ft) of trunk is approximately 60 years of age.”
So, these date palms in the dome are most probably transplanted from the Canary Islands.

@ecency I am having problems publishing my posts. They disappear after I published them. Do you know why that happened? Thanks!
After publish editor clears the post information automatically, are they getting published on blockchain, I mean do you see post after few seconds as published or it is not published at all?
It is not published at all.
@ecency When I clicked published, the post appear for a while, and then disappeared. It is not published on the blockchain at all.
Are you logged in with Hivesigner or with Standard login or with Keychain?
I think I know where the problem is. I think it has something to do with not enough resources. Thanks. I think all sorted out.
Yes, that's likely the issue. We will be adding RC indicator soon so you can see if there is enough RC for posting.
That would be helpful.
Your photos are missing ;)
