The art of folding paper, How to make paper ships - Step by Step

Hello lovely friends.
Quarantine is a good time to bring parents and children closer together. When children are not in school and live in the home will definitely experience a sense of saturation. If it is not resolved it will cause problems for all of us.
Therefore it is better for us to use time to carry out positive activities. One of them is doing activities using materials that are around us.
This time I will write how to make a toy ship out of paper. We can use any kind of paper, including the brochure paper that I use. Besides being inexpensive and not costly, this activity trains skills and neatness for children.

Here are the steps we can do:

1. Select the paper you want to use.

Whatever type of paper we can use. Can HVS paper, notebooks, newspapers or magazines. What must be considered is the rectangular shape.

2. Fold it in half like in the following picture

3. Fold it by pulling the ends of the upper folds so that they form a triangle with the rest at the bottom as follows.

4. Fold the rest of the paper at the bottom up so that it covers the legs of the triangle

5. Turn over and do the same thing. Tidy up.

6. Fold the edges of the paper in the triangle legs so they are parallel to the legs of the triangles.

7. go back and do the same thing. Tidy up.

8. Open the middle fold so that the open triangle becomes like a cone. Meeting the two ends of the triangle legs. Now the shape is a rhombus. Tidy up

9. Fold the front side to the bottom so that the edges meet.

10. Do it on the other side so that the shape becomes a triangle.

11.Open the folds carefully so it will form a boat.

This paper boat can be played by children either on the floor or even in water.
