Irrational people have always been part of the human equation. Whether they are overly-emtional, uninformed or malicious, experiences and encounters with irrational people will happen. Here is how to negotiate and deal with them.

When an irrational person begins to converse with you, focus only on the facts of the matter. If they want to talk about a particular product or service, focus on the technical features of the product. Do not engage with conspiratorial or negative energy.

If an irrational person tries to use emotional appeals to manipulate you, brace yourself and become rational. The brain cannot be rational and emotional at the same time. Make them repeat their demands, as silly as they may be and stick to your guns. Be assertive and use upright and solid body posture. Do not slump or back down.
