Did you know that you can trade crypto currencies for real gold?
In these turbulent times of Brexit's and banking scams, it might not be a bad idea to think about putting your money into gold. There are several ways to trade your cryptocurrency for gold.
Below follows a quick tutorial on how to turn your Steem into gold trough Bitgold.com.
First of all you have to trade your Steem or Steemdollars to one of the currencies that is supported on ShapeShift (https://shapeshift.io/), like for example Bitcoin or Ether.
Do this by sending your Steem or Steemdollars to either Poloniex or Bittrex.
Than you go to https://www.bitgold.com/ and create a account.
Next step is to go to deposit.
Click additional options.
And select cryptocurrencies.
Than deposit your crypto's that you got from your Steem.
Follow the steps and in no-time you will have some Gold on your account.
After depositing your crypto you can go and redeem physical Gold by selecting redeem and press physical gold.
Besides Bitgold there are other services like the decentralised platfrom Digix (https://www.dgx.io/) on Ethereum.
I'm not covering that in this post, because of the current uncertainty with Ethereum, but maybe for a later post.

I think its very good to know that you can do this, and I think its one of the options that is not chosen very often because.
1.) people did not know about this
2.) For the people that care about anonymity and are doing everthing they can about it, wont really order here I think? and if they will not let the gold send down to there address since that would make them "show there true colour"
3.) since you have to give your adres if you want to have your gold physically there is a level that makes you not so anonymous anymore.
4.) its harder to "directly" pay with gold.
But at the same time it has so many pro's if none of the above applies to you. The only thing you have to watch out for is Gold fever... Once you order well I bet you the gold rush will make you order more and more.
