Happy 48th Earth Day 🌍
Let’s broaden the definition of “environment” to include the man-made environment and any issues that affect our health and communities. Every 2nd person on the globe lives in a city.. so it’s up to not only engineers, medical experts and social scientists, but also ourselves, to be more active in creating a sustainable environment for daily life in cities. It’s easy to forget about the environment in a greater sense when you live and work in a city like London, but sometimes all it takes are a few hours at the park reconnecting with nature to remember why we need it. We all love David Attenborough documentaries and the thought of exploring the world and its natural beauty.. so let’s remember to do our bit and never take the earth for granted!
I thought the Earth was a bit older :D
Not to be confused with birthday! Sadly the earth's birth certificate went missing in the Big Bang so we don't know the exact date.. only that it was 4.5 billion years ago :/
