Today I'm grateful for the lovely sunrise and milder temperatures we were blessed with all day, we made it up to 6 C, and the lovely sunset we were blessed with tonight. :D I'm grateful that Belle (pictured above) and the other girls got to enjoy some time outside. :D I'm grateful that my son and I got to town to run all our errands today and got home in time to put the groceries away before we had to go take care of the animals out in the barn. :D I'm grateful for our homestead, what we've made of it so far, and what it will be like in the future. :D I'm grateful for these and for all the other blessings in our lives. :D Most of all, I'm grateful to God for blessing us with another day to share. :D
God bless you all. :D Have an awesome day everyone! :D

Looks like someone is enjoying the outdoors, today!
Welcome back my friend! :D
The girls love their outdoors time that's for sure. :D I can't wait until spring when they can spend more time outside than inside the barn instead of winter when they spend more time in the barn than outside. I'm pretty sure the girls feel the same way and I know the boys are looking forward to being able to play outside too. :D Even the piglets are curious and want to play outside but its still a bit too cold for them and we've got to fix all the fence lines that the heavy snow (or the girls) broke this winter as soon as possible so that they can all get their play time outside. :D
God bless you and your fantastic family. :D Have an awesome day my fabulous friend! :D
Awesome! I grew up on a ranch and I have always like raising cattle. I find myself coming back to that peaceful lifestyle.
There is nothing quite as relaxing as watching your cows mosey through a pasture and nothing as fun to watch as when your cattle or hopping and skipping with joy in the pasture either. :D Of course watching our puppies and grand-puppies playing, running and being goofballs is really fun too, but its not quite the same, LOL. :D
God bless you and your wonderful family. :D Have an awesome day my fabulous friend! :D
Do you all milk any of your cows?
Welcome back my friend! :D
We did milk Candy when we got her because she was still in milk, but once she ran out we didn't have any milk to get so we don't anymore. If we were blessed to have one of the girls become a mom we'd milk her though. :D
It was quite a unique experience for me as I'd never been near a cow before we got our first ones here on the homestead. My husband was the expert as his grandmother used to have milking cows when he was growing up. :D Its quite relaxing once you get the hang of it. I have to admit that it would be much easier if we built a milking stand for them once we get one in milk again. :D
God bless you and your fantastic family. :D Have an awesome day my fabulous friend! :D
