Split CPIDs are an end-user/BOINC problem, not a gridcoin problem. There's not a 0mag superblock issue across the network.
To fix split cpid, run both projects on the one boinc client continously & they should merge within 24hrs.
I disagree very strongly. Anything that affects the POR payout is a Gridcoin problem. Gridcoin may not be able to fix it, but that does not mean it is not a Gridcoin problem. It will slow adoption of Gridcoin, and it will frustrate members into leaving.
The 24h wait period may work in some cases, but not in mine and not in many others.

Also, FYI, there is a zero mag superblock issue RIGHT NOW.
It's a boinc problem, not a gridcoin problem. You caused it, it's entirely out of the hands of the gridcoin network much like if you were to turn your own machines off.

What are you even on about? It affects Gridcoin, hence it is a Gridcoin problem, whether or not Gridcoin can fix it. It affects the Gridcoin network.

I didn't say everyone had zero mag, I said there is a zero mag problem with the superblock due to projects being excluded. All users in those projects get no mag, and thus no POR, for their contributions to that project until at least the next SB. It does not matter if 'some' users have mag, it matters some don't.

Yes, as does turning off your computer, is that too gridcoin's problem? You should raise the split cpid issue over at the boinc github repo, it's entirely out of the hands of gridcoin and thus not gridcoin's problem.
