Find your happiness - MY PERSPECTIVE

Happiness isn't necessarily encountered every day and it is normal because there will always be more cloudy days than others. We all seek happiness, but finding it often seems more difficult than it is. In fact, happiness is WE who build it and we are responsible for our happiness. It's true that sometimes things are out of our control, but it is the way we take things and our reactions to a situation that is able to change our vision for better or for worse.

Certainly, others can make you happy and support you when things are not right, but first and foremost, you must have found the strength to count on you. You must find your balance and get to know yourself. The people you love can be a complement to your happiness, but you must never depend on others to be happy. That's right, it's easier said than done, but once you've been able to count on yourself first, you'll see you have stronger, healthier relationships with others.

I would like to add that happiness is to appreciate the simple things in life. I give you some examples. Take a walk on a summer night, go pick apples in the fall, get a coffee before going to school, read a good book before going to sleep, listen to my favorite songs in cars and more, but that would be too long to enumerate.

I also want to tell you that even if you're having trouble no matter what it is, you're strong, happiness is never far away, just change the way you see things and you'll see a lot more clear afterwards.

Without unhappiness there is no happiness, you cannot see it. So we cannot constantly be happy, and it is totally normal to really feel happy just sometimes, and not all the time. When we abandon on constant happiness, I think that is the point when we actually become happy. :)
Also, as you said, happiness is in small things, so it is about the attitude - if you are constantly looking for what you do not have, or if you are tending to be happy about what you already have.

Here are some my small, totally small things that make me happy:

  • eating peanut butter with bananas for breakfast
  • walking around my city (Belgrade)
  • cooking
  • drinking coffee
  • doing any workout
  • chatting with friends

Thank you for this nice comment! Indeed unhappiness is normal and this isn't always a bad thing for the reason you mention here. Btw, it's cool that you take the time to write about the small things that makes you happy!

i totally agree with what you said. simple things bring happiness, simple thing like going out for a coffee with your friends,smell some fresh fruits, pass the exams, someone say thanks to you etc etc
