Why I choose eating whole grain bread.

Bread is one of the healthiest foods and can be consumed every day, however, there are different types that can be found today and this has made people doubt which is the most appropriate to eat and have a healthy life . The bread can be obtained with or without seeds, dehydrated or white, whole, without salt, among others.

The integral bread, is very common that it is included in diets to lose weight, since it thinks that it helps to lose weight. The effectiveness of this type of bread is that it has good amounts of nutrients because the grain of wheat or the cereal with which it is made, stays more whole, making it provide vitamins and minerals that make it better than white bread .
Advantages provided by the consumption of wholemeal bread.

  1. It produces a satiety effect, since it requires a greater effort in the chewing process, because it is rich in fiber and also helps you have a better digestion.
  2. One of the most common problems at present, is constipation. This is caused by bad habits, sedentary lifestyle, fatty foods and high sugar content, etc. So the fiber that has the integral bread obtains that the organism increases the fecal volume and can stimulate the movement in the intestines, facilitating at the same time the evacuation.
  3. The consumption of wholemeal bread in diabetic people, helps to avoid the rise of blood glucose levels and reduces the demand for insulin. This is because this type of bread has a good glycemic index, lower than that of refined breads. It also works to prevent the onset of type 2 diabetes, because when consumed in a daily diet will promote the secretion of insulin, this is a hormone that is responsible for keeping blood sugar in control.
  4. Eating whole grain bread can help prevent cancer diseases, especially colon cancer. This is because the carcinogenic substances are expelled along with the faeces.
  5. Help prevent coronary heart disease because of its advantage in reducing bad cholesterol.
  6. Because it is considered a food rich in fiber produces more satiety, which reduces the feeling of hunger and thus avoid the consumption of foods with high content of calories and fat, which works to maintain better weight control.
  7. Stops the aging process of the cells, since it has antioxidant properties.
    Whole wheat bread also contains a crispier and firmer texture, which makes it tastier, and these qualities can be used to make some dishes of more appetizing foods.
