Appendicitis: does it have to be removed? ~ Natural Remedies?

in #health6 years ago

So this past month, I have been feeling frequent sharp pain in my lower right abdomen...
After hours and hours of googling and going down the WebMD rabbit hole (I do not recommend), I believe a possible self diagnosis may be chronic appendicitis or a few other possibilities such as kidney stones or some sort of infection maybe.
Basically, I have sharp pain in my lower right abdomen sometimes multiple times a day (especially these past few days.) Last night I could barely sleep because of the discomfort, as well as fear and anxiety over what this may be.

I am not a doctor and should definitely not rely on myself for the proper diagnosis. I also am headed to the doctor after work today. If anyone has similar experiences or have had any of these please let me know what you know!

Chronic appendicitis is less common than the typical acute appendicitis where the individual shows no symptoms until all of a sudden their appendix bursts. Acute appendicitis is rapidly developing, while chronic appendicitis can go on for months or even years.

I really, really hope that it is not appendicitis in any way as I am terrified to have to go under surgery as this is the #1 treatment Western doctors provide. I have never had any surgeries so I have never had to have anesthesia. I am terrified of anesthesia. I know it is extremely common and there are so many surgeries each and every day, but the concept of being put to sleep manually freaks me out. I have been doing research on natural remedies, herbal medicine, Chinese medicine, etc. and found a very informative youtube video on appendicitis in general and alternative remedies!

The video basically explains that you should clear out your colon, the video recommended enema, but I prefer using this tea...

and do this cleansing multiple times to rid the colon of harmful bacteria and any buildup. Then continue with basically a liquid diet or a juice cleanse while drinking herbal teas and lots of water and the inflammation may decrease.

So obviously I'm looking probably way too much into all this when I don't even know if this is what my issue is. Any comments, tips, suggestions, stories, etc. are very appreciated! Please let me know what your thought are about any of this!

I hope it turns out to me something minor that can be treated with the herbal tea and other natural remedies! I don't think it's a kidney stone because those things are very painful and feels more like a lower back pain. It could be a female issue, maybe. I guess you'll find out when you see the doc. Good luck and get well soon!
