A recent study of the University Scientists of Delaware (United States) pointed out that the abuse of salt not only increases blood pressure but also affects the health of heart, brain and kidneys.

According to this research, the higher the salt concentration will make the extra thickness, forcing the heart to work harder. This also causes harm to the functioning of the kidneys in protein filtering and adverse effects on the brain-controlled reactions of the nervous system.

As recommended by doctors, our bodies need only 2,300 mg of salt per day to operate, equivalent to a teaspoon of salt. But those who are at risk like blood pressure, diabetes mellitus or kidney, need to limit the use of salt (1,500 mg per day). However, according to American researchers, we usually use the daily average of 3,500 mg. i.e. more than 1,000 mg compared to recommended doses.
