A "guide dog" for people with Alzheimer's (short film)

in #health7 years ago

Hi All,
IMG_1904.PNG
First time posting here on steemit!

A few years back, I was involved in the making of this documentary. The wonderful relationship between the dog and the man, made it possible for him to go on long bush walks every day without getting lost and gave his partner a break from caring each day. He felt these walks helped him stay healthier and live at home longer than would have been possible otherwise. We need more of this type of solution for people living with dementia. Enjoy!

Would love to hear what you all think.
