Okay. This looks like a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing. I hope you will share some of your other "crazy" activities. Do they have other events besides this one in Perth or other cities?
Im sure they have quite a few. I know they do it with skydiving too, maybe I'll try that after this fear has faded lol. Although in saying that i used to own my own parachute before I became an ostomate so it could be required just to know I can lol.
Wow this looks so dangerous, are you climbing often. have you visited Croatia, We have some nice places for climbers, if you interested i can write article about it.
Not as often as we would like too. The post could be awesome espically if you have some images along with the story I'd love to read it. Make sure you let me know on Discord when its out. No rush just so I dont miss it
The idea of this, looking at tge images from the ground got me all brave and good. The video.... changes all that! WAY to scary for me to watch/ listen to at this point. Will leave that adventure to you! Talk about cortisol injection!!! Had no idea this would be so triggering!! LOL. Oh recovery.
So proud of you @insideoutlet and your brave hubby! For being there to record. Oh man. Just so scary. I've been afraid of heights but thought i'd delt with that issue. Apparently not 🙈 i am fresh out of AUD but can i send SBD or CAD to support your endeavour?
I love how you show up. I feel like eventually i will be able to help ppl in this way too. Just a bit in the thick of it atm.
'to give hope to anyone who is still struggling through the stages of finding themselves again after a life-changing event'
Oh no, I hope my video didnt give you too much of an attack. I think if you click on the link it would accept CAD, it would be an interesting test, so if you do try it let me know how you go. If not any SBD sent I would convert and donate in AUD.
I feel like eventually i will be able to help ppl in this way too.
You will, don't put any pressure on yourself. Baby steps all the way and only when you think its right. You cant help anyone until you help yourself. Your doing all the right things already x 💜😁💜
I actually scrolled away from the vid quickly! Lol. Then the sound started. So, i went back to stop it but the vid was very close to the end at that point. So nuts! Yes to baby steps! Hard for someone who enjoys full throttle! Which i gather is a commonality between us. 💗
Yay! Thanks, @anomadsoul, that's awesome news although I thought something was going on when it got above 2$ lol... I appreciate the time to add me to the curation post and for the exposure it brings.
haha come to think of it I really should have put it a little more eloquently and said like a beautiful butterfly or true to your name dragon, but that just sounds like I am calling you giant so I am going back to butterfly lol.
Awesome stuff! I love abseiling but I don't think i've ever dropped anything that high! You will want to do it again straight away as soon as you get over the initial 'over the edge' fear :D Followed and eagerly await the building abseil video :D
Haha, it was not on my to do list but the opportunity arose to support the young lady in the photo with me and I didn't want to let her down. Plus I love a bit of adrenalin, let's you know I'm alive.
Wow! Kudos to you for your courage! In my late 20s I developed a fear of heights. I am thinking that even before that happened I would not have had your remarkable courage!
I would not even dream of doing this, how much more in reality. I'm afraid of heights and no matter how much I try to overcome that fear, it still thrives. I wish I could do this but I know I might end up dead before reaching the ground cos of fear. I think this is a challenge to me, I will start with leaning over the railing of a storey building without thinking of death, lol.
Haha I think its scarey too. I find the height of 160 meters to be a bit nausating but for charity and to face fears I will do it. Im not sure lookong over railing will help cure the fear lol. It may just increase it. Lol.
Sweet! I would love to do this if there was something similar in the US. Feel bad for the window washer that has to get all the foot prints off the glass when you guys do the real event ;)
Thank you, it will be scary and fun at the same time. As for what an ostomy is I have a blog I did about what it is, this is a Link to it if you are interested. It's a quick read. Let me know if you have any questions. :)

Good for you for doing this! I can't imagine the journey you have been on, but I can appreciate how you are turning that into something so positive. I went to high school with a guy who at 18 had an ostomy and he was devastated by the who thing. I hope you are very proud of your upcoming endeavor, but more importantly, what you are giving to a community of people that is really priceless!
I just send you sbd for you to convert to add towards your goal. Best of luck with it all :)

Lol, it sounds like it could be lol. But I have mellowed a lot. Having a second chance at life makes me enjoy it but also not take it for granted. 💜

You are crazy!! I would throw up! Oh, pass out and fall off the building :(
Haha there would be no falling only looking really special as you hung from a rope like a dead fish... lol.
Yup, flapping in the wind, so beautiful :)That would be a money maker for Eroded :) lol
haha come to think of it I really should have put it a little more eloquently and said like a beautiful butterfly or true to your name dragon, but that just sounds like I am calling you giant so I am going back to butterfly lol.
LOL No I'll take dragon :) There would be nothing eloquent about it, it would be hysterical though :)

Im going to take the go pro with me strapped to the helmet so it should be good. I promise to try not to scream. Lol.
Wow, this is impressive, but I have to say you are nuts! No way I would jump (abseil) off any building!
Haha, it was not on my to do list but the opportunity arose to support the young lady in the photo with me and I didn't want to let her down. Plus I love a bit of adrenalin, let's you know I'm alive.
A good cause, and I guess someone has to do it! I think I'll stick to treating myself to good food too remind myself I'm alive!
Haha, I do love me some good food... could be the safer option but oh well ill throw caution to the wind for now and eat after lol..
Wow! Kudos to you for your courage! In my late 20s I developed a fear of heights. I am thinking that even before that happened I would not have had your remarkable courage!
Haha, yes heights can be quite scary. I prefer skydiving to this as the height just seems more scary when you see the ground lol. Its all worth it.
for a dose of courage you get a huge dose of pleasure and adrenaline
Thats good exchange :)
That it is! I love a good bit of adrenaline but as I get older its harder to find the courage lol.
I would not even dream of doing this, how much more in reality. I'm afraid of heights and no matter how much I try to overcome that fear, it still thrives. I wish I could do this but I know I might end up dead before reaching the ground cos of fear. Maybe I will learn to face 'this' fear someday, but today is not that day, I know so.
Sweet! I would love to do this if there was something similar in the US. Feel bad for the window washer that has to get all the foot prints off the glass when you guys do the real event ;)
Haha, I never thought of the poor window washers lol. This event is Australia wide but not sure if anything similar exists in the US.
Looks like fun, and a beautiful weather day too!
I was pretty good even if a little chilly, made it easier to run up that hill three times.
Wow guys you are so brave! But I'm sure it was hella fun! :D
It will be fun and scary but all for a good cause.
Wow, you all are courageous !
All the best to your awareness and fundraising campaign.
Good luck with going down the building, I'll go and do a bit of research about ostomy, I don't really know a lot about it.
Thank you, it will be scary and fun at the same time. As for what an ostomy is I have a blog I did about what it is, this is a Link to it if you are interested. It's a quick read. Let me know if you have any questions. :)

Hi, its not really cool to drop a link on someone's post with no reference to their post at all. Just some basic Steemit manners.
Hi ,
I tried searching for people posting with #teamaustralia as i thought my post would be of interest to you.
In any case , my apologies as I ended up offending you.
-Regards
Thanks for stopping by. Im not offended but some people will flag for things like that. Just more of an FYI so it doesn't happen to you in the future.
