Amoebiasis is an intestinal infection which occurs when a parasite called Entamoeba histolytica enters into your body. People with amoebiasis may experience nothing, but in most cases people can have mild or severe problems. There are several symptoms that can be seen in people suffering from amoebiasis such as abdominal pain, diarrhea, or bloody diarrhea. In addition to that it can also cause swelling in colon including tissue death or hole in tissue. Anemia can occur in affected people due to bloody diarrhea.
