Let's face it, we all love that warm cup of sunshine that is coffee. Whether we use it to get us going in the morning, keep us regular (we all know it's true), visit with friends over, or just relax on the weekend with, very few people these days can say they do not drink some type of coffee.
The question we are constantly asking though is how GOOD is this ground up bean for us, and should we be drinking it as much and as often as we all are.

Two new studies show the answer to that question is YES!! We can enjoy it guilt free, decaf or caffeinated (black of course) says new study provided below- the largest study on coffee ever done worldwide.

The first study surveyed more then 520,000 people in 10 European countries, while the second used 185,000 participants in non-white populations around the world.

The study found that people "who drank two to four cups a day had an 18% lower risk of death compared with people who did not drink coffee" and that "there is a stronger biological possibility for the relationship between coffee and longevity and found that mortality was inversely related to coffee consumption for heart disease, cancer, respiratory disease, stroke, diabetes and kidney disease."

Furthermore "the study on European countries revealed an inverse association between coffee and liver disease, suicide in men, cancer in women, digestive diseases and circulatory diseases. Those who drank three or more cups a day had a lower risk for all-cause death than people who did not drink coffee".
