Thank you. Getting his ashes and pawprints and nose prints (he had the most perfect nose, and he used his nose to express love a lot, so we asked them to print his nose as well) has been a very difficult thing. We're grateful to have these remains of him, but we'd give just about anything to have him back and whole again.
I'm so grateful he died after my husband's birthday instead of before it. My husband was able to have a nice birthday with Tuxie at his side.

Our remaining four cats are on this wild emotional rollercoaster with us, and Tuxie's younger brother Cosmo seems to be suffering the most out of our cats.
Cats are amazing and feel things just like us. When I moved to Richmond, VA about a year ago there were feral cats all around living just in the street. I now have 2 that live on my porch and feed several others too. I hope you and your cat feel better soon.....at least he had a wonderful life with you.
Oh, I know cats feel just like we do. They love as deeply as we do as well.
