Well before that happens I thought I would do a recap on what happened with last nights League of Helpienesss Hangout.
For those who don't know, this is a chat that takes place every Monday at 6pm EST and is hosted by @meno and @paulag.
The idea behind it is very simple, its a contest to see who has "helped" out the community the most in the week by posting, commenting, upvoting, increasing their steempower and various other metrics.
The more you grow your account and help others grow theirs the more of a "helpie" you are :)
So last night started with a discussion and explanation by a few users (@meno, @llfarms and @themarkymark to name a few) on what can be expected from the various changes coming in HF20. If you are still confused about whats going to happen later today you might want to check out the replay for some down to earth, laymen-esque information on such things as the voting changes, curation rewards and timing changes, etc.
As usual @paulag did an amazing job of tabulating the information for all those participating in the contest this week. I decided to throw my hat in the ring for the first time this week as I wanted to see what my score was and if I was truly engaging that much more as I thought I was.
The results were tallied, the envelope opened and the spreadsheet posted

Since this was my first week actually participating I was just hoping not to embarrass myself and was just looking to see if my engagement had increased like I had hoped

Okay thanks. I got thinking it might be something like that. I can't join the chat because voice and video chat is blocked through discord. All of the text stuff I can do no problem!

great post! sad thing is 2 people and maybe more said they asked to be added and weren’t. with their scores there would have been different 2nd and 3 rd place this week. this is my 4th consecutive week. i’m sure at some point it will get tougher to win, but i do love that
@meno and paulag gives us the opportunity to do this with helpie. i was on abh’s list for months, and ive always been a big engager since i got on steemit. its one of the first things i learned and kept it up for 10 months.

I'm happy to see more people joining in each week and wanting to take part, seeing how they are engaging each week and getting a little feedback on what areas they are doing well in or where they should work on.
For me that is a huge reason for me being in the league

it is definitely interesting. i have to get on that app you are using, i used it a few times but nada for me, plus i dont copy and paste text from wiki bahaahaha
